Sete Paixões em Pastel/Seven Passion on Pastel

Hi Everyone.

Seven Passions on Pastel. Seven paintings for an exhibition. The word passion, dose not have any link to romance, or love between lovers...its more of passion on giving way something with love....

During its evolution, I'm going to post the painitngs that I will be ending.

Olá a todos.

Sete Paixões em Pastel, são sete obras em pastel que evoca e honra a paixão de dar algo com amor, sem qualquer tipo de sentimento em retorno.

Durante a evolução, vou colcoando as obras que vou finalizando.

Aqui apresento duas:

Paixão da Esperança/Passion of Hope:

Paixão do Perdão/Passion of Forgiveness:

Flora B. Giffuni...passed away

Using the words from Jimmy Wright:

"Flora B. Giffuni, founder of the Pastel Society of America, passed away early this morning at 3:30 A.M. in New York City. In October she would have celebrated her 90th birthday. At this time we have no news of the family's plans.

Rae Smith, PSA President and invited speakers will give tribute to Flora's life on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 4 P.M. at the opening of the 37th Annual "Pastels Only" Awards Ceremony.

In keeping with Flora's wishes and spirit, the Awards Ceremony will be held as usual and on schedule. Friends wishing to share their appreciation of Flora will be given the opportunity to speak during the Annual Dinner following the Awards Ceremony.Sincerely,Jimmy Wright"

Long will be your memory in our hearts, minds and our pastel world....
